Also this year the ICB renews its participation in the IUPAC sponsored event “Global Women’s Breakfast” (GBW) which will be held on February 14th at 3 pm in virtual mode.
The GWB is held annually to celebrate the achievements of women in science and to inspire younger generations to pursue a career in science. Women and men of the scientific world come together virtually to “chat”, like over a cup of coffee with friends, about scientific changes and their own personal experiences in an exquisitely informal way.
This year the theme is ‘Breaking Barriers in Science’ and at the ICB event entitled ‘Science without Border’ Giorgia Batelli (IIBR-CNR), Fabrizio Chiodo (ICB-CNR) and Irina Naletova (IC-CNR), who carried out part of their activities abroad, will talk about their experience.
