One of the main scientific activities of IUPAC is the financing of projects, after a thorough peer-review process. The projects should address some criteria: i) be related to the needs of the chemists in the world, not only in a country or a region; ii) be related to the role of chemistry meeting the needs of humanity; iii) be made by an international team.
Fabiana Piscitelli from ICB-CNR, selected as Young Observer from NAO-CNR last year, will now coordinate the project entitled: “LC-MS quantitative method validation and performance: an exemplified guide” with a task group of 14 experts from Worldwide. The project has been funded by the Divisions of Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry and Environment and Chemistry and Human Health.
