Degree in Chemistry and PhD in Biochemistry, Biology and Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Sassari.
National qualification to the practise of the profession of Chemist .
National Scientific Habilitation by the Italian Ministry of University Education (MIUR) for a Professor (Seconda Fascia) in S.C. 05/E3 – BIOCHIMICA CLINICA E BIOLOGIA MOLECOLARE CLINICA.
Full Researcher at ICB-CNR (Institute of biomolecular chemistry)
His research activity concerning cancer genetics and in particular melanoma, breast cancer and colorectal cancer.
Technical skills: Experience on the main Molecular Biology techniques (PCR, RT-PCR, NGS Sequencing, DNA and RNA extraction from whole blood samples, and from tumor tissue. Experience in cell cultures. Experience on fixation and immunohistochemical labeling procedures with specific antibodies and the analysis of preparations under fluorescence microscopy.
