Andrea Beccu

He graduated in Chemical Sciences cum laude at the University of Sassari in 2017.
He received his Industrial PhD in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Cagliari in 2022 with a thesis entitled: “Development of a catalyst for the oxidation of alcohols derived from renewable materials for biorefinery applications.”

During his studies, he collaborated with:
– Matrìca S.p.a. (BIOREFINERY) – PORTO TORRES, developing a procedure for the separation and recovery of two metal ions (used as catalysts in a biorefinery process) from an aqueous waste solution containing residual organic compounds.
– TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF EINDHOVEN (TUE) – NETHERLANDS, photocatalyzed organic synthesis in batch and flow.
– INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED CHEMISTRY OF CATALONIA (IQAC-CSIC) – BARCELONA, preparation and characterization (DLS) of polymeric nanoparticles
